RHS Rotary valve
Rotary valves from RHS provide smooth and controlled feed, discharge and dosing of a range of different materials. This includes various bulk materials, but also granules and pellets.
Rotary valves in general are an important component in today's conveyor systems, as connecting rotary valves to storage containers takes the load off downstream conveyor systems. The result is increased operational reliability. Our cylindrically designed rotary valve with rectangular inlet and outlet and a four-chamber rotor (optionally: seven-chamber rotor), is made of 1.4301 stainless steel except for the seal including bearing and the replaceable rubber lips.
The patented and innovative centrepiece of the rotary valve from RHS is the conical sealing and bearing unit. The housing is manufactured as a welded stainless steel part, which is exceptionally corrosion-resistant, robust and easy to clean. In contrast to cast iron rotary valves, our welded design comes with an advantage in terms of weight.
The rotor shaft blades with counter plates that can be bolted through provide a stable attachment for the rubber lips, which can be very easily removed and replaced. This only involves taking out the rotary valve - not taking it apart. Alternatively, you can also replace or swap out the rubber lips through the maintenance cover. Using rubber lips means the material is conveyed gently.
To meet your requirements, we offer several options to customise your rotary valve.
