- New drying plant in the Canary Islands
We are very excited about a new and exciting project in the Canary Islands. While Germany was experiencing gray winter weather and cold temperatures, our technicians were able to soak up the sun—and, at the same time, successfully commission a new plant just a hundred meters from the beach.
The plant dries waste materials from the local restaurant and hotel industry so that they can be recycled much more effectively. Especially on an island where raw materials are not available in unlimited quantities and many things have to be imported, the efficient use of existing resources is particularly important.
What was previously considered waste is now turned into a valuable raw material thanks to modern technology. This closes the circle and creates new potential from kitchen waste – sustainable, sensible, and a little bit clever.
The project impressively demonstrates how sustainable solutions can also be implemented in regions heavily influenced by tourism without sacrificing comfort or efficiency. A modern facility, a motivated team, and ideal local conditions—an all-around successful project that we are proud of.
